As much as we would like to think that a creative organization can defy the traditional titles of “manager” “director” and “VP”, there’s a reason for delineating roles, and that’s so team members can know what is and what is not their responsibility.

So do away with titles if you wish, but make sure everyone is crystal clear as to where their role ends and someone else’s begins.
